Discover the surroundings of the Timhotel Palais Royal
As the capital city's historical and central district, the Palais Royal neighbourhood is full of things to explore, particularly architecturally. Head off for a tour of the area!
Take rue des Petits Pères and then rue Notre-Dame-des-Victoires and go past the Basilica. Cross rue Réaumur and walk around place de la Bourse. You'll find yourself in front of Palais Brongniart, built in 1825. Walk down rue Vivienne. You can enjoy a stroll through the covered arcade of Galerie Vivienne. Runners, though, will head straight to the entrance of the gardens on rue du Beaujolais.
Once inside the grounds of the Palais Royal, keep right and go past the theatre before walking through galerie de Montpensier and a stroll past its shops and galleries. Next, walk past the building of the Constitutional Council then head towards the black and white columns of Buren. Exit at the Comédie Française. Take rue Saint-Honoré to place Vendôme then rue de la Paix all the way to Opéra Garnier. Stroll along the wide boulevards until you reach porte Saint-Martin.
